Gwen gives face like. Three times harder than mortal women.
I've always had a talent crush on her, I've always thought she was really fly and stylish. Tonight just refreshed that.
She was charming and rugged and very cute the whole time. She wore 3 different outfits. She kicked and swung and stomped herself around the stage more than she walked. She talked shit. All of her movements were big, big, big.
She opened with Spiderwebs, which has been stuck in my head since my friend gave me the tickets. Perfection.
You know, I never go to massive venues. Well. Almost never. They are a huge pain in general and I'm almost never feeling a crowd that big. And for the most part this choice suits me but tonight I remembered what I miss out on by only hitting up medium sized venues:
major technicolor multi level complicated stage setups. A platform for the drums that looked like a spacecraft and lit up different colors. Massive monitors, two of them and super crystal clear. And a huge projection on the wall behind all of the action that like. Made the whole thing five hundred times more dynamic.
It was dramatic. It was hundred dollar ticket dramatic.
So yeah. The whole thing was an experience.
Cuzzi was in heaven, and she got this hella cute t shirt to commemorate the event. She's sleeping right now, like a baby. I'm gonna follow her lead.
