I won't even try to wrap my tiny words around our new president. Won't even try. Except to say that I'm amazed and really proud to be an American for the first time that I can remember. I'm proud of our president and I want to show him off, which I guarantee you I have never felt before in my life.
Clinton was folks. But we got an actual brotha, and I know it's silly but I seriously want to high five every black person I see on the street.
Also.
Work is fucking crazy. Crazier than it has ever been and I'm sure I say this every time with every new site and maybe that means I'm getting better at this? Cause each time it gets harder and each time I get it done anyway.
You hit a wall and you break through or climb that motherfucker and it's not like you won't hit a wall again. It will just be a little farther out and a little thicker and a little taller.
So you get through that one, too.
Rinse. Repeat. Until you are a Golden Child, and every door you even glance at opens just for you.
