I was in a grand mood already so I went to the Beach Chalet and ate overpriced chicken while I watched the ocean. The best thing about the Beach Chalet is the seating, you can look right out at forever if you're patient.
Downstairs there are frescos, and mosaics for almost everything.
On the way home I stopped to check on my concrete, which is still in good shape.
But there is something about driving. And lately to be honest with you I haven't been feeling very good in my skin. When I feel that way the best thing I find is to take my skin out on the town. Not climb into a little box and listen to music and rush from one place to another. But actually like. Go walking.
So today that's what I did. I needed more fabric swatches.
On the way I saw a lot. It was nice just to smoke and walk and look at people, and not have to worry about traffic or police. Plus I could see things for real.
And walking down Haight I found out about this movie, which I'm going to see later this week. I never would have bothered to look it up, but walking and stoned I couldn't pass the Red Vic without picking a movie to go to soon. Their popcorn is delicious. All I could think of was buttery popcorn, and I drifted over in a daze and read about The Dhamma Brothers, and now I'm going to see it with Robin next week.
See? I really needed to go on a walk.
At the fabric store I found swatches, and this crazy fabric with poodles all over it.
I think it's delicious, but I have no idea what I'll use it for. I'm gonna line whatever it is with whipped cream white satin though. And probably buy some sneakers to match it.
I have work to do tonight, for work tomorrow. Wish me luck.
Happy Sunday.
